Flu Season 2020: How to Protect Yourself

Flu season is on the horizon, and health experts are highlighting how imperative it is that you know how to protect yourself and others.

Influenza viruses typically spread in the United States on a yearly basis, usually from the late fall through the early spring. Flu Symptoms

The flu is caused by certain viruses that infect your nose, throat, and lungs. Symptoms of the flu may include:

  • All children ages 6 months through 59 months;

  • People with poor functioning immune systems
  • Women who are or will be pregnant during the flu season
  • Residents of nursing homes and other long-term care facilities

How to Protect Yourself From the Flu:
