A Comprehensive Metabolic Panel is a blood test that measures 14 different substances in your blood including your glucose level, electrolyte and fluid balance, kidney function, and liver function. A CMP provides important information about your body’s chemical balance and metabolism.

A lipid panel is often referred to as a complete cholesterol test which healthcare providers use to monitor and screen for your risk of cardiovascular disease. A lipid panel measures your cholesterol, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein (HDL), and low-density lipoprotein (LDL). The test is important to monitor and maintain healthy cholesterol levels. If neglected, you could end up having a stroke, heart disease, or suffer from hardening of your arteries.
